A work deadline looms. The carpool to soccer awaits. The dry cleaning is piling up. A dinner party leaves you with no down time this weekend. Somehow, you make time for all the external demands of your life. Somehow, you manage to juggle 'til you drop and then wonder why you have a nagging sense of incompleteness, despite all that you've accomplished.

All the little trade-offs we each make in order to get things done have an insidious way of slowly leaching away our creativity, passion and sense of fulfillment.
